Question : Problem: IPHONE G3 Locking up system

I have a new G3 and have attempted to connect to an older computer with 1.0 USB ports.  I have installed a new USB 2.0 mulitport card and am able to sync to computer better.  The problem I have is after ITunes loads up and I sync my computer slows down to a crawl and starts acting irraticaly.  I have to Ctrl-Alt-Del to start shutting down services to get any type of computer back.

Even after that it acts strange until I reboot without phone attached to USB.  Then everything works great until I sync.

Any Ideas?

Answer : Problem: IPHONE G3 Locking up system

Seems like a driver issue to me. Someone else plugged in their iphone and there computer crashed. That turned out to be a driver issue. I would check to make sure you have the correct and current usb drivers as well as no question marks on any drivers. Windows update can give you some drivers sometimes, so you could try that as well.
