Question : Problem: Enabling a motherboard graphics card.

Hi Experts,

If an on-board graphics chipset has been disabled so that a graphics cards can be fitted and then you decide to re-enable it so that you can use dual monitors. How is this usually done. Is the on-board graphics turned on and off in the BIOS setup or is it a physical thing like jumper links?

Answer : Problem: Enabling a motherboard graphics card.

Usually done via the BIOS unles it is an ancient machine ( > 5 years old at least )

Check the BIOS settings, PCI, graphics, etc.

You may have to go through a lot of options, deped=nding on the BIOS and moterboard.

Not all BIOS's support using both cards.

I hope this helps !
