Question : Problem: Screen turns white

I have a laptop, and set the power setting to turn off my monitor after an hour. when the hour is up, the monitor goes white.

If I go into the power settings and tell the monitor to not turn off, then it continues to run the screen saver and the screen doesn't turn white.

This also happens when I reboot and when right after the boot screen right as the sign on screen is coming on. I have checked msconfig and my registry and nothing seems to be out of the ordinary. This just started happening a few days ago, and I have not installed any new software or drivers.

I contacted Dell support and we installed a different driver than the one that is on their Support Site.
