Question : Problem: HTTP 400 Bad Request
|
|
When i try to connect to a HP 2600n laser printer via internet explorer i get the following message.
HTTP 400 Bad Request.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to solve the problem or ideas to try! I can connect to any other HP web interface but all the 2600n just comes back with 400 bad request.
Has anyone had the same problem?

Can I assume you're current with Windows updates?
And that all your IE settings are the same as one of the working pcs?
Try this: Download and install Cleanup (http://www.stevengould.org/software/cleanup/) and CCleaner (www.ccleaner.com). Uninstall Java, then uninstall IE. Reboot. Run Cleanup. Close it, you don't need to log out. Run CCleaner, both its cleanup function and its registry cleaner. Reboot. Run CCleaner (both cleanup and registry cleaning functions). Reboot. Reinstall IE and all updates Reinstall latest Java.
