Question : Problem: PC Monitor gives no output
Hello,
A PC monitor (Samsung Syncmaster 510N) malfunctions with the following error message on boot-up:
"Inappropriate mode. Correct mode: 1024x768 60Hz"
At this point none of the monitor buttons (Menu, Brightness, etc) except power-on function on being pressed.
So, as a second try, on connecting the monitor to a laptop as an extended desktop, the screen remains blank with no error message. No output is given. However, an extended press of the Menu button reveals the message
"Test Good"
But no other function is available.
Would appreciate assistance with troubleshooting.
Best regards,

Answer : Problem: PC Monitor gives no output
Is the a Factory Reset option under the Menu on the Monitor?
Perhaps that will solve this issue.
