Question : Problem: BB Maps doesn't work

Hi,
I'm trying to get BB maps to work,but all i get are diagonal lines
all other applications work fine(mail,calendar,browser)

some info:
8820 v4.2.2.116 (platform 2.4.055)
bb maps version 1.2.26
I'm using BES (rules allows bb maps)
GPS works (finds satelites)
we use proxy to access internet
NO active BIS
I checked with service porvider ,everthing's fine with my data plan
I checked with company that maintains the blackberry enterprise server ,all policys are default and should permit the use of bb maps
questions:
Do I need an additional bis account to use bb maps?
Does bb maps need proxy verification (doesn't ask when starting up)?
the url where bb maps gets his maps (to check if blocked on firewall)
do i need an additional service book on the blackberry(dn't see one reffering to maps)?
