Question : Problem: Configuring LDAP on HP Laserjet 3027x MFP

I am trying to configure a HP Laserjet 3027x MFP to use LDAP authenticaion, when I purchased the printer I was informed it supported this. However I cannot find any options to configure this and HP support are less than useful.

Any ideas?

I am afraid you got bad info about the features of that printer/device.  I can't find any evidence that it does support LDAP.  That would certainly explain the problem you are having although, if you really spoke to HP support, I am surprised they didn't mention this.  I may be wrong so you could certainly wait for another expert or contact HP.

If you can replace the printer then the Laserjet M3035 MFP does seem to support LDAP.  Please verify this on your own (let me know if you need help) and make sure it supports your other needs.  It seems to be comparable to the printer you have now.
