Question : Problem: Can I install 2x1GB PC2-5300 RAM from MacBook Pro into Dell Inspiron 1501?
I have recently upgraded the RAM in my Intel MacBook Pro leaving me with the original 2 x 1GB PC2-5300 667MHz DDR2 RAM.
My question is, can I install this into a Dell Inspiron 1501? I ask because the Dell as far as I know takes PC2-4200 RAM and does the fact that it is from a Mac matter these days??
Thanks heaps!

I just checked to make sure - you are fine. That memory is compatible and you have two slots that can hold 1GB each in the Inspiron 1501.
