Question : Problem: Possible to save 3GB data into three CDs

Hi: I have data of size 3GB. I have blank CD's each of size 700 MB. Is it possible i can save that data into CDs

Answer : Problem: Possible to save 3GB data into three CDs

It will depend a lot on exactly what kind of file it is.  If it is all ready compressed or is a multimedia file or some other fairly 'dense' data file you may not be able to shrink it enough to fit on just 3 CD's.  If it is a plain text log file it will probably compress enough to fit on 1 disk.

Compress it first then if you get small enough split it up.
