Question : Problem: Recovering from SATA II RAID Controller Failure

I have a an ADAPTEC 2610 SA - SATA II Raid controller, on which i built Hardware RAID with 5 SATA II Harddisk drives, the controller card failed, when i replaced the controller i am not seeing the volume, i believe the RAID information is stored in the Harddisk Drives, how to recover the volume ?

Answer : Problem: Recovering from SATA II RAID Controller Failure

Go to the Controller Bios and try to create a new Volume. When asked, choose "Get info from the Dsiks "
This should do it !
