Question : Problem: My DP35DP Intel Motherboard will not boot up

I just insatlled a motherboard it will not bootup. I hit the power swicth and the fans start to spin and then stop. The system I built have 4 gb ram 500 watt power supply one ssta dvd rw and one sata drive processor is a intel e8400 3.00 GHZ. the light on the mother lite up it just will not boot up
