Question : Problem: Install local Laserjet printer on Winterm 3000 using Term Services 2003

I am trying to get Winterm 3000 thin clients to be able to print to local Laserjet printers that are connected to them via LPT1, while they are connected to a Server 2003 Terminal Server.

I've check-boxed the spot for printers under the "local resources" section on the thin client, but after I connect to the TS the printer is not available for me to print to.

It is a Laserjet 1320, if that matters.

Do you have the printer drivers installed on the terminal server?  If yes, also make sure that the LPT port mapping isn't disabled.  (type tscc.msc from the run box, highlight connections, right click RDP-tcp in the right pane, Properties, client settings tab, make sure the box for LPT mapping is NOT checked)  If it is grayed out then a group policy is in effect.
