Question : Problem: Disk full on Mac OS X 10.4, but can't work out why

A client has a iMac G5 running 10.4 OS X (Tiger). Total disc size is 250Gb (240Gb usable). However, all information under Mac HD adds up to only 130Gb, yet it says it only has <1Gb left. No partitions on drive, and already cleared the caches. Can't work out where the space is being used. Checked under all user profiles, no luck. I feel like I'm being stupid, but I need a hand please.

There is a little freeware app called whatsize. http://www.id-design.com/software/whatsize/ It may help you track down some hidden files. If that doesn't work then boot from disk warrior and see if there is any corruption.
