Absolutely. There are quite a few applications out there that allow you to access the songs on your iPod and copy them off.

The main issue with iPods has been the directory structure. It's really not organized logically so you don't get an easy way to just locate that favorite artist of yours and get their songs. Hopefully with one of these apps you'll be able to get that data presented to you in an organized fashion. I believe Floola does this well.
