Question : Problem: Can a Windows Mobile 6 Device Synchronise Emails With a Desktop PC Without Exchange Server?

A client recently tried to use a Blackberry to synchronise their emails with a standard Windows Vista PC. However without having an Exchange Server and also Blackberry Enterprise Server, they were only able to synchronise Outlook 2007 contacts, calendar and tasks.

Would a Windows Mobile 6 Device offer this functionality, so that they can receive emails from their two POP3 accounts remotely, read, reply and file messages on the move and then synchronise these changes back into their desktop PC at the end of the day?

If so, please suggest a suitable device and also a competitive UK provider for this service, if possible.

Answer : Problem: Can a Windows Mobile 6 Device Synchronise Emails With a Desktop PC Without Exchange Server?

Although potentially the above requirements could be met by Windows Mobile 6, it appears that many user's report that they are unable to fully synchronise fully their emails, without using Exchange server, therefore I will assume that this doesn't work well, unless someone has direct experieince and states otherwise.
