Question : Problem: connect laptop with s video to tv

hi,
i hooked up my ibm thinkpad t43 to my tv via s video, but when i try to play a movie in windows media player, the movie plays on the laptop but doesnt transfer the display to the tv for some reason

anyone know why?/

Answer : Problem: connect laptop with s video to tv

Software players use an overlay which can only be shown on the primary display.  If you want the TV to show it, you must make it the primary display.
