Question : Problem: Server advice

This is more advice than a question. My friend is starting a LAN gaming center/Computer repair business.  He will have around 20 computers that access a game server(standard SBS server).  He will also have software for selling computer time, snacks, etc that will have to tie in with the same network to allow users prepaid time on each workstation to play games or surf the web.  Should he have two servers, one for gaming server and one for Point of Sale software? Or with the proper CPU/Memory, he should be fine running both on the same server? Any recommendations would be great!

Answer : Problem: Server advice

Then he should definitely run two servers.  Have that be the DC and as I mentioned above, have a member server for the gaming (it doesn't have to be a DC - in fact it probably shouldn't be as it should not have to replicate, etc,etc.).  If he wants to be totally safe, he could add another Server and make that a DC just in case of the SBS goes off line; he'll still be able to authenticate.
