Question : Problem: Testing ethernet card

Hi,

I've a troubleshooting on my network (7 macs) and I want to know if there is a way to test the ethernet cards.
So how can I test the ethernet card of G4, Mac os 9.1 ???

First, why 9.1 on a G4? That machine was built to run OS X. Take full advantage of your hardware and get OS X on it. No reason for 9.1 anymore.

As for ethernet, there are gadgets you can get at places like RadioShack that test ethernet links. Just plug the other end of the cable into the gizmo and a series of lights tells you if there is a good link. Otherwise, just plug them into a hub and if the lights come on, it's probably ok.
