Question : Problem: deploying smart device solution to a windows mobile 5.0 pocket pc device

I am trying to deply a smart device solution to a windows mobile 5.0 device.

I have developed a small windows mobile application in visual studio 2005 and selected the target device as Windows Mobile 5.0 Pocket Pc Device. I then deployed the project to the device using activeSync. On the device, when I tap RolePad, I get the following message :

"RolePad is not supported on this device"

I then bundled the project into a CAB file and install that on the device. When I tap on RolePad, I get the same message.

My device is a Xda Exec and has Windows Mobile 5.0 on it.

i doubt they would allow you to release an app from a trial version. So it could be.
