Question : Problem: Winfax w/Cellphone

I've got a Motorola v551 cell phone...Cingular is the carrier.  I'm trying to set it up so I can use it to send faxes with Winfax.  I've got the correct data cable hooked to my USB port on my laptop.  apparently, I'm not configuring it correctly and cannot get a connection.  Any suggestions.

You need to install the Motorola cellular modem driver from your CD-ROM on the laptop.  Also make sure that cingular is giving you a GSM data (NOT GPRS) in order to do Winfaxes.  If you still have problems, I suggest using eFAX systems so you can e-mail faxes out.
