Question : Problem: Backup completed w/ exceptions

Backup- XX-XXX-XXXAOFO: Initialization failure on: "D:". Advanced Open File Option used: Microsoft Volume Shadow Copy Service (VSS). VSS snapshots are not supported on the version of the operating system running on the target computer.

Backup is backing up multiple servers. What does this error message mean?

In the job, under the AOFO options, try selecting the option to "Automatically select open file technology".
