I have someone that deleted a file and then deleted it from their recylce bin.  Is there any way to retrieve the data.

You have to immediately stop using the PC. Remove the HD and connect it as a 2nd disk to another PC running windows. Then scan the disk using getdataback, and if it finds the file, register the software so you can copy the file off. If you keep on using the PC before recovering the file it'll be more likely that you or the system will overwrite the area where the file you want to recover sits, and that will make it unrecoverable.
