Question : Problem: Remote Desktop and PCAnywhere stopped working

Running XP Home SP3 on my home PC..  I use either PCAnywhere 11.5 or Remote Desktop to access PC's at work.   Yesterday, I contacted Symantec tech support over a subscription issue for NIS 2009.  They remoted into my PC and corrected the problem.  I think their access to my PC caused the connection problem with my office.  Both were working fine before.  I contacted my T1 provider to have them check access thru the Cisco PIC firewall and they could get thru the firewall into the PC that I could not connect to and that was not the problem.   I removed and reinstalled both PCAnywhere and NIS 2009, but that did not help.   My internet provider at home is AT&T Uverse.

I did not mean to uninstall the NIS 2009 Software.  But the items inside the Network Connection properties.  You have to uninstall the item of NIS.

After doing that try to do this:
Set Pagefile.sys to 0 in my computer properties, advance settings, advance.

Restart.

Test the Remote, if OK or Not.

Turn on pagefile.sys to system manage size or customized it.

Restart.

Test it again.
