Question : Problem: Unable to attach to \\servername\D$.  Access is denied

hey all here is the scenario,

2000 Server SP4 Exchange 2000 SP2.  Running Veritas 8.6 Remote agent.

When backing up I get the following error

"Unable to attach to \\servername\D$.  Access is denied"


Here is the wierd thing.  It backs up the C: and the mailboxes just not D:  I have tried all I can short of reinstalling the agent.  Does anyone have some suggestions.

Answer : Problem: Unable to attach to \\servername\D$.  Access is denied

What account are you using for BackUp Exec Services?  How about for attaching to remote Machines in BE?
Make sure that account has security rights to the Drive and permission rights to the share.
