Question : Problem: Want computer connected to a APC UPS to send email on power failure

Hello,

I would like my computers (Windows XP/Vista) to send an email to me when there is a power failure. They are each connected to a APC Backup-UPS ES550. My network infrastructure is on power backup (internet still active on power failure.

Do you have any idea the best way to accomplish this?
