Question : Problem: How do I get XP Pro to recognize my new graphics card?
I installed an Asus EAH3450 Graphics card to accomodate another monitor. No problems installing the card or the drivers. It works well. The problem is that everytime I boot up (or scan for hardware chages), windows finds a new pci device and but can't find the driver. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software w/o any luck. I've attached a snapshot of my device manager. Thanks in advance! Les
PS I have an Asus ASUS P5E-VM HDMI mATX motherboard, win xp pro, quad core cpu, a couple gigs of ram. A basic setup nothing fancy.
PPS I won't be able to get back to your responses until the middle of the afternoon Aug 25 PDT.
