Question : Problem: GEForce 9500 no output !!!

Hi all

Recently bought a GEFORCE 9500 GT and installed it into my machine. Unfortunately when I reboot I cant seem
to get an output onto the monitor from either the onboard or the graphics card itself!!! When I disconnect the card the on board graphics chipset re-engages?? I dont think the card has an external power although it does have two smaller connectors shaped similarly to fan connectors. It is both Vista and 64bit compatible Help?!

Quad Core 2.18GHZ
4 GB RAM
250 BG HD
GIGABYTE GA-G31M-S2L motherboard
64 bit Vista Pro

You do need to diasble on board graphics to have the add on card work as a rule - is there an option to do so in hte BIOS?
