Question : Problem: I am a dip switch

I have a HP Omnibook 6000 notebook.  Upon boot I get and error message  Error: EEPROM panel data does not match dip switch settings.  LCD will not be turned on until mismatch is corrected. How do I change the dip switch and to what?

Answer : Problem: I am a dip switch

The dip switch settings should be labeled on the video cable going to the display. The dipswitch is under the keyboard and on the motherboard.
