Answer : Problem: Linksys wireless Camera does not ping

According to the data provided in your initial posting...

When you are connected to the Linksys WAP54G, you vidcam gateway address will be
192.168.1.245. Conversely, when the vidcam is connected to BEFSR41, the GW addr will be 192.168.0.1. NOTE the difference at the 3rd octet.

From any PC on the SAME subnet (network), try to "ping" the vidcam. In your case - with the vidcam connected to BEFSR41, your PC would "PING 192.168.0.104".

When the vidcam is connected to WAP54G, the PCs on 192.180.1.x will NOT be able to ping or see the vidcam on the LAN.... Unless you are trying to isolate parts of your netwokr, you PCs & vidcams need to be on the SAME network to communicate (eg., view, ping) with one another.
