Question : Problem: Wireless Access Point Configuration

i m setting up 3 Linksys wap 4400n wireless access points.
I just want clarification on channel settings.
Should the channel setting be set to "Auto" or give them a single specific channel..

I configured 75 very similar Netgear devices in a hotel environment and found these auto settings generate way more wireless noise than normal, and there is little to no benefit to the auto selection. I highly recommend you seperate the channels by at least three to clear out possibility of overlapping freaquency. I found using channels 2, 5, and 9 were great in multiple wireless AP's in an immediate area and were spreak enough for environmental spectrum didnt have too much impact.
