Question : Problem: What DPI to set mouse to?

I have a logitech mx 518 but im confused about the whole dpi thing. It goes to 2000 but you can set it to other settings through the software. What do I set it to? If 2000dpi is the best then why not have that setting just as default and not have any other settings for it?

set the dpi to what feels best for you =)

dpi is dots per inch - the amount of times that your mouse "reports" back to your computer, the higher the dpi, the more times your mouse "reports" - faster cursor movement

have a play, and yeah set it to what feels best.

with my razer copperhead, i use 2000dpi with a slightly adjusted windows sensitivity (otherwise the curser is very fast!)
