Question : Problem: I need my LaserJet 5P to work as a network printer on a wireless network. Parallel to USB adapter to Router? Parallel to wireless adapter?

I have a new implementation of broadband into my house. I will have a D-Link wireless router. I would like to use my Laserjet 5P (parallel) as a network printer. How can do this most reliably and ecomoically? I could get a wireless router with a USB printer port and buy a parallel to USB adapter cord. Or I could get a wireless adapter for a parallel printer. Can you advise on what would work best to for me? Thanks, C

no need to get a usb (only) print server and then worry about how to connect the parallel port printer to it... dlink has a couple of (wireless) parallel port print servers. the first one here also has usb ports and can handle 3 printers total: http://www.dlink.com/products/?sec=1&pid=336 http://www.dlink.com/products/?sec=1&pid=461
