Question : Problem: What can be causing this Backup Exec Error?

HI. I have a 2003 server with Veritas 9.1 that runs the tape backup ok from time to time but on most occasions just fails with the following error.
Adamm Mover Error: Unload Status Failure!
Error = ERROR_FILE_NOT_FOUND
Drive = "Seagate 2"
    {D4B9CD58-EF27-47DA-9501-89AC0726B695}
Media = ""
    {00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000}
Read Mode: SingleBlock(0), ScsiPass(0)
Write Mode: SingleBlock(0), ScsiPass(0)

Hi,

do you have the option to eject the tape after backup. Did you select that option.

Can you please check the drivers that are installed for this tape drive by going to the device manager and check if the drivers for the tape drive are that of Veritas and not the actual tape drive vendors drivers.

Because for backup exec to control the tape drive it needs its drivers installed for the tape drive.
