Question : Problem: Citrix PNA creates extra icons on desktop
We have an odd issue whereby Citrix published application users are gettign extra icons apear on their desktops. These appear with a suffix of the username and v1, v2 etc.
e.g. Fred Bloggs would normally get (amongst other things) a Word icon appear. With this issue, he gets 3 or more icons as follows:
Word.lnk
Word (fred.bloggs v1).lnk
Word (fred.bloggs v2).lnk
There have been various issues with conenctivity/Citrix server problems, but I have been unable to link any specific scenario to when these icons start appearing.
They do not appear on all user's desktops, but the only link to which users it does affect is that they are all published app users.
Any ideas?
Cheers
Rob
Answer : Problem: Citrix PNA creates extra icons on desktop
Found out this is due to offline files interfering - it adds the v1, v2 copies when the user selects 'keep a copy' on file conflicts.
