Question : Problem: VPN access token usb stick.

Hi
My client wants to access his documents from anywhere, any machine in the world.
They can use VPN Client to connect to their network when they are using their own laptops. But they want to have a solution so that on other computers (anywhere in the world) they can still have access.

I do not want to open up the ports to the server. And configuring vpn client on every machine is considered hassle to them. Is there something they can carry on a say a usb stick that will authenticate a vpn session and then map them a network drive on that computer?

Answer : Problem: VPN access token usb stick.

The problem you might run into is if the computer's configuration or an anti-virus application denies running applications from removable devices.
There is a USB boot device that will boot most notebooks/pc and establish a VPN connection to a terminal connection.
