Question : Problem: 1680x1050 Monitor for Acer Travelmate - Acer vs Dell

I am looking for a monitor for my Acer Travelmate 8104WLMi that will run at a native resolution to match the laptop - 1680x1050.

Looking briefly, there appear to be three options (although I am sure there are more) - Acer's own 20" Widescreen AL2-32wm, Dell's 2005FPW and the Apple Cinema. In the UK, the Dell is about £125 cheaper than the Acer and I wondered if there is a straightforward reason for this. I have read of some "backlight bleedng" issues with the Dell but can't find much feeback on the Acer.

On paper- spec wise - they seem pretty identical other than the Dell has a USB hub and the Acer some 5W integrated speakers.  Is the LCD panel likely to be the same - i.e. sourced from the same manufacturer/factory?  Would there be any reason that the Acer would work better with the Travelmate as it is the same manufacturer (and preseumably manufacturer driver)? Any comments on the likelihood that the Acer has a better panel/circuitry and thus te price differential, or is it just a  case of volume?
