Question : Problem: Laptop Locks Up on Standby

I have a Dell Insiprion 1100, after it goes into standby and the screen goes black - I can't get it to come back up again. I always have to reboot.

Make sure you have installed all the drivers and utilities which are the most current for your laptop from the dell site. You can download the correct ones using the service tag number which should be on a sticker at the case bottom close to the serial number.
