Question : Problem: Cisco Content Services Switch 11152: cannot upgrade CSS software image
|
|
I am having problems upgrading the software image on a Cisco content services switch 11152.
The switch is currently running version 5.02 build 3
CSS11150(config)# version Version: ap0502003 (5.02 Build 3) Flash (Locked): 4.01 Build 32 Flash (Operational): 5.02 Build 3 Type: PRIMARY Licensed Cmd Set(s): Standard Feature Set
I have the new image (sg0510001.adi-gz, downloaded from Cicso website) on an FTP server. I am following instructions in Cisco's document "Upgrading Your CSS Software" (http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/webscale/css/css_510/admgd/upgrade.htm). When I try to upgrade the image using the upgrade script, the script bombs with the following message "Error in script playback line:597".
When I try the upgrade using the manual method "Manually Upgrading the CSS", I can transfer the file using FTP, and unpack it. I then isue the command: primary boot-file sg0510001, and get "Filename not present on disk".
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.
