Question : Problem: When I view my network connections, the wireless connection has gone away.

For some reason my wireless network connection has disappeared.  I have a router and a 2.4 GHZ wireless-G USB Network Adapter that is connected to my 2nd PC for my wife.

I had a wireless connection, but now it has gone away.  I tried everything I know to do but it will not show up.
I plug the adapter into another USB port and still see nothing.

I think the USB network adapter is bad.  How do I check this?

Answer : Problem: When I view my network connections, the wireless connection has gone away.

start, right click on my computer, left click on manage, click on device manager.

open network adapters and see if it's there.  if it has an x on it, right click it and hit enable.
if it's not there, but you see a question mark somewhere, try reinstall the drivers.
if it's still not there, try plugging it into another computer and see if it works on that one.

'bout all i can think of this early.
