Question : Problem: Printing Job - 14 equal labels on a A4 sheet .... How ?
|
|
I feel there's a simple solution to this that I'm just not seeing, and opening it up to more views will save me time and a lot of time and error.
I need to inform friends and businesses of a change of address and thought I'd ease the process by using the PC. At the stationers I found a pack containing A4 size sticky back sheets, each one containing 14 pre cut labels.
On the pack it says, compatable for home inkjet printers and contains instructions. these instructions are very vague and consist of a simple A4 template, showing the position of the 14 labels and their sizes. I cannot see how this allows me to write my 'Name, Address & Telephone No' and then for it to print off all 14 label equally spaced.

I think i've covered most points, but if need be please contact me.
Hope you can provide a simple solution, Thanks.

Using Microsoft Word, go to Tools > Envelopes & Labels. Click on the Labels tab, and then the Options button. Select your label type (Avery L7163 is the one to use). Click OK. Now type the address details in the "Address" window and clisk on the New Document button.
That gives you a page of your labels which you can then print.
