 I'm looking out for a job ON SMS server administrator.

Can some one,let me know the day to day tasks and activities of Microsoft SMS Administrator.

Also I would like to know if SCCM is completely different with SMS or only a few differences

Check system reports for system health

Check update reports for update compliance

Check deployment reports for success/failure of software installs

Maintain packages/OS images

SCCM is much like SMS, but the update engine is totally different (it's now WUS based) and OSD is totally new.  If you know SMS, you can quickly learn SCCM.
