Question : Problem: Using Voice Commandon xv6900, can I get activation button assignment to be a soft key or shortcut?

I am now using Microsoft Voice command on my xv6900 ( thanks to some help from Experts Exchange) and with the only hard button available being the cammera button ( kind of awkward), I'm wondering if I can use a soft key or one of the application shortcuts to activate VC.  I've tried to set one of the shortcuts to Voice Command, but Voice Command is not in the drop down of choices. Even though two key strokes would be a pain, I've even tried to use the launch programs - but the Voice Command launch is listed in settings.Any ideas? Thanks for your help
