Question : Problem: Having problems using an AXIS 1650 print server- need help

The company I'm working for bought a Canon ImageRunner 1630, and an AXIS 1650 print server came along with the purchase. I hooked everything up to it the other day, but I can't find the printer on the network.  I have tried using AXIS IP Jumpstart as well as Netspot Console from Canon.  I have pushed the test button in on the AXIS to get it to print a test page out with no luck. I even tried using a HP JetDirect 300 box but without any success.
I downloaded the docementation on the AXIS Print Server but am unable to find anything from Canon on the printer.  I called Canon and had no luck.  The company that put the printer in said they will charge $120.00 just to come out here to take a look at it.
Has anyone ever used AXIS before and had any success in getting it to work?  Hopefully give me some ideas of what to do so I can resolve this issue.

Installing drivers won't do any good until you get the connectivity problem fixed.  You can download the users manual.  Look up factory default to reset the device.  It's on page 61.
