Question : Problem: IBM-Thinkpad A22M does not boot..   I was told that I need a Boot CD

My IBM-Thinkpad A22M does not boot..   I was told that I need a Boot CD.
Would anyone know how to obtain a copy of such "Boot CD"...?  Thanks in advance!!!

try to boot with battery alone, or from AC adapter alone
if it does not boot, you can try if  it boots into the bios :
remove these components : extra ram (leave only 1 stick), cd drive, disk drive, extra cards..peripherals
