Question : Problem: Ghosting to server - access denied error 5
I have a Windows 2003 standard edition server.
On a domain.
I have the share \\server1\Images
I am able to access this share, read and write to this share - from PCs which are not on the domain. (Require domain username/password etc)
domainname\user1
password
But when I try to Ghost an image to this share using Hirens boot disk, and tcp/ip(ghost) It just wont map the drive, says error 5 access denied. Details I put in:
user1
password
domainname
net use t: \\server1\images
User1 is a local administrator the server. And when putting in the above details, I have tried leaving domainname as workgroup.
ANy suggestions?
Answer : Problem: Ghosting to server - access denied error 5
Took it off the domain. Seems to all be working now.
