Question : Problem: Retrospect or Acronis for DR / Daily Backup

Hi, We have 5 windows 2003 servers that need to be backed up daily and need a solid DR solution. We already use Retrospect 7.6(windows) for backing up data on client and a couple servers. The cost to add:

Muli-server
DR
Open file
SQL server Agent (2)

is $2978.00.

I've been talking with Acronis, and I think I can get True Image Enterprise Echo Server with universal restore add on for $3500.

Acronis
If I purchased the Acronis package and need to restore a sql server or a few specific files from time to time, would this be the best solution? If a server crashed and I restored to same hardware, would the server be exactly like that last incremental backup?

Retrospect
The DR option is limited to same hardware and looks to be a lengthy process. Is this a good DR solution?
Will EMC be supporting/developing Retrospect for Windows? I wonder if this is a dying back up platform for EMC.

Any input would be great!

Answer : Problem: Retrospect or Acronis for DR / Daily Backup

You may have to get multiple licenses of Acronis to do that. However, if you use Paragon, they offer a multiple servers solution for $600. They called it Technician license version. If you pay $800 for Enterprise license, you have multiple servers license plus more features. Check it out:
