Question : Problem: Access rules and NAT to setup VNC through a Cisco 871 router
Hi,
I am setting up VNC to connect from the internet. The host computer is behind a Cisco 871 router.
I setup this NAT:
ip nat inside source static tcp
5900 interface FastEthernet4 5900
Do I also need to setup an access rule to open port 5900? Can I open that port just for 1 specific ip address or MAC address?
Thanks!

Nope, it will only do inspection on the TCP 5900 traffic.
