Question : Problem: Can't map SBS shared drive over VPN

SBS 2003 standard. The ISP provides hardware PPTP VPN. The VPN client can ping any computers in the remote site by name or IP, but net view \\IP receives System error 53 - The network path was not found. If using net use \\IP command, we receive system error 67 - The network name cannot be found.

No firewall enabled and clients in the LAN can map the server without any issue. Any Suggestion?

Answer : Problem: Can't map SBS shared drive over VPN

One thought; if the Windows firewall or any other software firewall is enabled you will not have access to shares.
Also the local subnet of the client must be different than that of the SBS LAN. However, if the latter were a problem you shouldn't get a ping response.
