Question : Problem: My home PC as HTTP proxy from work: how can I do?
|
|
Hello, from work I have limited access to a wide range of websites which I would be interested to visit anyway; most known sites on many categories are blocked, but I can reach my public IP home address.
I can ONLY use Http/Ftp through a proxy to exit.
My question is: is there a FREE way to use my home PC as a proxy server from work, or even better, to remote control it via HTTP?

Host mode allows you to make teamviewer running in the background.
I think you should not be turning of DynGate router as that is what allows you to make use of HTTP - port 80 instead of the default port 5900 that Teamviewer uses.
To setup the proxy settings on your work machine, click on DynGate Options in the General Tab and on the bottom there is a proxy settings button. Click on it to set your proxy settings(your work networks proxy).
Let me know if this works.
