Question : Problem: IBM R50 Vs T41 Screen Quality

We recently purchased an IBM R50 with a 15" screen, and an IBM T41p with a 14" scrren.  Both have native resolution of 1400X1050.  

Both are set at the same screen power setting (high)  Both have  resolution settings in Windows XP at 1400X1050.  

With the same settings, I find that the R50 has a brigheter, more white screen with cripser resolution.

Questions:

1.   Should this be the case?


2.  Are there any settings I should consider adjusting on the T41p.


3.  I am within the 30 day return period on the T41p.  I am struggling with thinner and a bit faster (T41p) vs bigger and brighter screen, and a keyboard that has just a bit more room for my wrists (R50).

I would go for the larger easier to use keyboard and the brighter screen. A small speed difference will soon seem inmateral compared to comfort and easy to look at.
